By sharing the ride with up to five other commuters along designated routes, passengers benefit from reduced fares without compromising on convenience or service.

Launch and Expansion Routes

The service linked to the rollout of JUTA Express services will initially roll out in the following key urban centers:

• Kingston & St. Andrew – 2025

• Mandeville and Montego Bay will follow in 2026

Proposed Routes and Stops

Four optimized InterMetro Premium Shuttle routes in Kingston and St. Andrew, Jamaica, using Starbucks locations as key hubs and drop-off points. Each route blends structure (fixed Starbucks stops) with flexibility (boarding/disembarking along the route).

Each route ensures:

• Reliable main stops (Starbucks)
• Fixed fare regardless of boarding point
• Flexible boarding/disembarking anywhere along the route
• High-traffic coverage while maintaining efficiency

Transfer Options & Flexibility

• JUTA Express Kingston Hub located at 4 Lady Musgrave Road will also feature in all route as a starting and ending point. This will apply to JUTA Express Hubs in Mandeville and Montego Bay
• Liguanea is the most connected transfer point (served by all 4 routes).
• Half-Way-Tree and New Kingston also serve as secondary transfer points.
• Riders can board/disembark anywhere along the route at safe, designated points.

Time-Based Schedule

A time-based schedule for the four launch InterMetro Premium Routes using selected Starbucks as connection hubs in Kingston & St. Andrew is planned. The schedule assumes hourly departures from each route’s starting point between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
