Everything you need to know about JUTA X — Jamaica’s first integrated travel and courier membership programme.

 

  1. General Membership Questions

Q  What is JUTA X Membership?

JUTA X is a premium monthly membership programme that gives travellers discounted first-mile rides-to-hub, priority boarding, guaranteed seating, member-only fares, oversized luggage upgrades, VIP support — plus four free courier deliveries every month through JUTA Express Courier Services.

Q  Who can sign up for JUTA X?

Any customer who travels between Jamaica’s major cities or frequently uses JUTA Express or InterMetroONE services can join. Three tiers are available: Professional / Individual, Family, and Corporate.

Q  What are the membership pricing options?

Professional / Individual: $3,500 per month | Family: $4,500 per month | Corporate: $5,000 per month.

Q  Is there a contract or long-term commitment?

No. JUTA X runs on a monthly subscription basis. You may cancel at any time before your next billing cycle with no penalty.

  1. Travel Benefits

Q  What are ‘discounted rides-to-hub’?

These are discounted rides provided by InterMetroONE (via the InterMetro Shuttle or RedPlate Taxi fleet) that take you to or from a JUTA Express hub. The progressive discount sequence is: Ride 1 — 25% off | Ride 2 — 50% off | Ride 3 — 75% off | Ride 4 — FREE. Additional rides for Corporate members are billed at the corporate rate.

Q  How many discounted rides do I receive per month?

Professional: 2 rides per month | Family: 4 rides per month (shared across linked members) | Corporate: 6 rides per month (pooled across the employee roster).

Q  Do unused rides carry over to the next month?

No. Discounted rides are valid within the current billing month only and do not roll over.

Q  What is the guaranteed seat benefit?

All JUTA X Members receive priority access to JUTA Express seating. Corporate members receive an enhanced 24-hour guaranteed seat protection, securing their seat even close to departure time.

Q  Do all members receive priority boarding?

Yes. Priority boarding is included across all three membership tiers — Professional, Family, and Corporate.

  1. Courier Benefits

Q  What is the free courier benefit?

All JUTA X Members receive up to four free courier shipments per month through JUTA Express Courier Services, covering islandwide delivery on all active routes.

Q  Does the courier benefit roll over?

No. The four free shipments reset each month and do not accumulate or carry forward to the following billing cycle.

Q  What can I ship under the free courier benefit?

Standard parcel shipments that meet JUTA Express Courier size and weight guidelines. Oversized or specialty packages may incur additional fees. Contact JUTA X Support for specific shipping queries.

Q  Can I use all four courier shipments at once?

Yes. You may redeem any or all of your four monthly shipments at any point within the same billing period.

  1. Family & Corporate Plan Questions

Q  How does the Family Plan work?

The Family Plan allows up to four linked members to share travel and courier benefits, including discounted rides and monthly shipments. Each family member may set their own pickup address within the InterMetroONE app.

Q  Can Family Plan members have different pickup locations?

Yes. Each linked family member can set and manage their own pickup address independently through the InterMetroONE Super Customer App.

Q  How does the Corporate Plan work?

Companies receive pooled discounted rides, a reserved corporate seating block, 24-hour seat guarantee, corporate billing and reporting, employee travel cards, and four monthly courier shipments at the account level.

Q  Can we add or remove staff members under the Corporate Plan?

Yes. Corporate account administrators can update their employee roster at any time through the app or by contacting the Corporate Support Desk.

  1. Free Ride Promotion

Q  What is the Free Ride Promotion?

Eligible members receive up to two promotional free rides: one free first ride and one free last ride within the promotional period. Value is capped at JA$1,500 per ride.

Q  Who qualifies for the Free Ride Promotion?

Only fully approved and active JUTA X Members with a verified account in the InterMetroONE app.

Q  Where is the Free Ride Promotion valid?

Rides must start and end within Kingston & St. Andrew or Mandeville. The promotion is valid only when booked and paid through the InterMetroONE Super Customer App.

Q  What charges are not covered by the Free Ride Promotion?

Members remain responsible for surcharges, government fees, tolls, tips, and applicable taxes. These are calculated on the pre-discount fare amount.

Q  When does the promotion end?

December 31, 2026 at 11:55 PM.

  1. Billing, Renewals & Cancellation

Q  How does billing work?

Membership fees are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan at the time of sign-up.

Q  Does my membership renew automatically?

Yes. Membership auto-renews each billing cycle unless you disable auto-renew before your billing date through the InterMetroONE app or by contacting Member Support.

Q  How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel through the InterMetroONE App under your JUTA X profile, or by contacting JUTA X Member Support directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Q  Are membership fees refundable?

Membership fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.

  1. Account & Support

Q  How do I access my membership benefits?

All benefits are activated and managed within the InterMetroONE Super Customer App under your JUTA X Member profile. Download the app on Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Q  Can I update my account information?

Yes. You may update your details at any time through the app or by contacting JUTA X Support.

Q  Who do I contact for help?

Individual and Family members: JUTA X VIP Support (accessible via the app). Corporate members: Corporate Support Desk, available via your dedicated account contact.

  1. Terms & Modifications

Q  Can membership benefits or terms change?

Yes. JUTA Express, InterMetro Transit, and InterMetroONE reserve the right to modify membership terms, benefits, pricing, or promotions at any time. Members will be notified of material changes in advance.

Q  Are membership benefits transferable?

No. Membership and promotional benefits are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member or their approved linked profiles.
