InterMetroONE Refer-a-Friend Programme Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 1st 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the InterMetroONE Refer-a-Friend Programme (“Programme”). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms in addition to the InterMetroONE Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Programme is open to InterMetroONE registered passengers who:
• Are at least 18 years old
• Have an active InterMetroONE Customer App account in good standing
• Have downloaded the app and completed account verification
1.2 Employees, contractors, and affiliates of InterMetro Group are not eligible to participate in the Programme.
2. How the Programme Works
2.1 After registering with the InterMetroONE Customer App, eligible users will receive a unique referral code.
2.2 You may share your referral code with friends, family, or other contacts who are new users of InterMetroONE and have never previously registered.
2.3 A successful referral is recorded when:
The referred person signs up with your referral code during registration, and Completes and pays for their first eligible ride through the InterMetroONE Customer App. An Eligible ride’ refers to any completed, paid, non-promotional ride with a minimum value of JA$980 dollars, booked via the InterMetroONE Customer App.
3. Referral Rewards
3.1 For each successful referral, you will receive JA$500 ride credit in your InterMetroONE Customer App digital wallet.
3.2 Ride credits are:
• Non-transferable
• Non-redeemable for cash
• Valid only for use on passenger rides booked through the InterMetroONE Customer App
• Automatically applied to your next eligible trip. Unused ride credits expire in 60 days from the date of issuance.
3.3 There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make, but InterMetroONE reserves the right to cap monthly or total earnings based on system usage, abuse prevention, or promotional adjustments. Users may can therefore earn a maximum of JA$5,000 per month in referral credits, unless otherwise approved in writing.
4. Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct
4.1 Referral codes must be shared only with personal contacts. You may not:
• Post your referral code on coupon, deal, or commercial websites
• Create fake accounts or multiple profiles. Accounts created using the same mobile device, IP address, or payment method may be flagged as duplicate and disqualified from referral eligibility.
• Mislead or impersonate InterMetroONE in promoting your code
• Use paid advertising to promote your referral code (e.g., Google, Facebook ads)
4.2 InterMetroONE reserves the right to withhold or revoke credits if fraudulent activity, abuse, or violation of these Terms is suspected. Fraud includes, but is not limited to: fake identities, use of automation, credit card testing, and simulating rides or any such activity as defined under Jamaican Law.
5. Referral Code Usage
5.1 Referral codes must be entered at the time of account creation. Codes cannot be retroactively applied.
5.2 Only one referral code may be used per new account.
6. Modifications and Termination
6.1 InterMetroONE reserves the right to:
• Modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice
• Adjust reward amounts, eligibility, or limits
• Review and audit referral activity for compliance
6.2 In case of termination, earned ride credits will remain valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
7. Limitation of Liability
InterMetroONE is not liable for any loss, claim, or damage resulting from participation in the Programme or any delay or failure to issue rewards due to technical or other unforeseen reasons.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate Jamaican courts.
9. Dispute Resolution or Appeal Process
Users may appeal a denied referral by submitting evidence at [email protected] within 7 days of notification. InterMetroONE reserves final decision rights.
